In October 2008 Magallanica Productions will begin shooting "Monvoisin", a drama based upon the life of French painter Raymond Quinsac Monvoisin in Chile (1843-1857).
Written and directed by Mario Velasco, the film is scheduled to be in theatres by March, 2009.
"Monvoisin" has already won a Corfo 2006 award and a CNTV 2007 award, both in Chile.
Chilean-French-German actor Bastian Bodenhofer will play Quinsac Monvoisin.
